How can I get the odor out of my Van?
I bought a van in September just past and now that its winter, every time I drive with the windows closed and the heater on, there is a terrible odor and I have tried everything to get rid of it. I got it for a very good price but I found out that it was used by a Morgue to transport dead bodies from residences, hospitals and care homes. What can get the smell out of the upholstery please. We are desperate, my wife and kids can't even ride in it anymore since we heard who the previous owners were. Thanks
You can try sprinkling baking soda around on the carpets and the upholstery and let it sit overnight and then vacuum it off.
You say the odor is coming when the heater is on and you maybe have a small leak in the heater core, causing the odor. Do you have to keep putting in antifreeze because if you do, that's really the problem.
