Is this copyright infringement?
I recently acquired a stack of old sales brochures for vehicles (1986-1993 model years). I would like to convert them all to digital format (PDF) and distribute them, charging $1 for each digital copy just to cover my time and effort in converting them. Is this copyright infringement? None of the brochures have the © symbol, nor "Copyright XXXXX". Fair use or infringement?
Not trying to make myself rich or anything. The $1 per copy would just go back into acquiring more old brochures to convert them.
They don't need to be marked copyright to BE copyright.
Making a copy of them and selling it is copyright infringement.
