Valuation of Jewellery - Antique Necklace?
I have a piece of jewellery that was passed down and given to me, originally my great grandmothers and is about 100 years old. It is a gold necklace with a heart locket that has several different coloured stones in it that make up a crown shape. Does anyone know anything about jewellery from this time period, how much it would be worth or what the significance of a crown would be? Was this a common thing on jewellery from that time period. Any info would be appreciated.
Maybe you should go to some sort of jewerelly shop near you and see what they think. It sounds like it would be worth alot, especially if you have taken good care of it.
