I need a wiring diagram for 76 evinrude 2 stroke. 3 and 4 position on off start and accessory outboard. BMSAM?
what colors go where and what do they stand for. 76' 85 hp evinrude 2 stroke outboard motor.
black/yellow to m on keyswitch (magneto)
black to other m (ground) on key switch
red/purple to batt(battery positive) on key switch
white to s (start circuit) on key switch note must come from a neutral safety switch in control box! for start in gear protection!
grey to tach
purple white to choke
tan to hot horn
purple to acc (accessory) on key switch note a purple jumper also goes from here to choke switch and hot horn
this is for the original 76 harnes and key switch if it has been updated to a newer style color's wont match post back if your harness is different
