My 2002 Ford Escort stalls out when I'm at a complete stop by either breaking or putting the car in stop. Idea?
I feel the car jump a little bit and it just dies. It always restarts when I turn it on again, but why is this happening?
did you recently give it a tune up? this happens sometimes when a spark plug is gapped incorrectly or when it is torqued too tight or not torqued tight enough. also your fuel filter may be clogged depending on the last time that was changed. it depends on how long this has been going on. if its been just recently happening then it could be as simple as some condensation in your tank which would lead to water in your gas. if thats the case then you need to add some water evaporator to your next full tank of gas. try these things and if none of them work then re-post another question listing the things you have tried and i will try to help further.
